One thing that we will begin to do is set the stage for our Career Tech Pathways. The planning starts this summer and we need staff to be involved in this planning for at least 4-5 pathways. In the fall we will begin to develop the curriculum with the idea that we are going to implement these pathways for September of 2010. Think Digital Imaging, Health Academy, Teaching Academy, etc. A great thing for our students.

Next year we will continue to focus on excellence. We will refine and learn from what worked and didn't work. Excellence on academics, as we offer more AP and honors courses and excellence on athletics. Although it might seem as if this year was a breakthrough year, the hard work and foundations that were set on previous years are bearing fruits. Great job DMHS staff for all your hard work and support of the students and the school and thanks administration for your support!

Hopefully, we will be doing more of the same as this year but doing it better. Also, I would like to us more on the cutting edge in technology, since that is the way of the future.

We are headed to more meaningful data driven instruction. next year it will be a smoother process where teachers will be used to some kind of format to analyze data. We will also be a tighter family because we know appreciate and understand the value and privilege of having our jobs. i think next year we will really understand the importance of making a difference with little resources. Very grassroots and in a way a kind of reset from all the outside things we have come falsely to believe matter in education.

Sorry about the typo's...I was writing too fast. I meant to say...I would like for us to implement more technology on the cutting edge since that is the way of the future.

I feel the same about developing a Career Tech Pathway for students. I feel that this will open the way for our students to see how core class apply to real life.

Continue with our collaboration in professional learning communities since we seem to have accomplished some our goals through this group effort.

Bacause this year was a great year we need to exceed our expectations and be better this coming year. That means working on bulding a stronger culture between students parents and staff and will do that in participating together whether its school events or if its community events.

I wish other schools could see the community that exists here. This is truly a safe and excepting environment for students and they come first. It is so important to see their education, success and dreams come first. This school is unique in its value of the students and the connections with the community. That is lacking in so many other places. It has been an honor to be part of this growing process and to see this school persevere.

Mr. Alvarez I agree and think that technology should be incorporated more into classrooms since it is a key to builing a better future.

We will collaborate to further define our school vision and motto, as well as continue to further implement data in our lesson planning and professional development. We will also work as a team to ensure that achievement of the ESLRs occurs not only outside the classroom but within it as well.

We are definitely on the road to using data in a meaningful way. We have begun analyzing site based data and recognizing useful strategies. Now we must build to actual implementation.

1. Pathways will be developed (health, tech, digital imaging)
2. Student engagement will be dramatically affected by using technology (interwrite pads).
3. Our PCL will be refined and our process will also be refined.
4. Our use of data will evolve.
5. We can not afford to stay stagnant, we still have much to improve overall, regardless on how well we did on our WASC visit.
6. Improve our use of Dream Center, although it was a success this year, we need to improve and evolve.
7. Improve and evolve our use of our website for 4 year planing, Scholarship Portfolios.
8. Improve and evolve our use of curricular software.

I conclusion our school needs to develope a constant pace foward, as technology and pedegogy is constantly evolving so should we.

Next Year...
We will continue to move forward with our PLC's. More time focusing on impacting student learning via teachers collaborating together and discussing effective teaching strategies to implement in the classroom.
We will continue to celebrate our accmplishments together no matter how big or small they might be. We will continue making history with the same or better RAM PRIDE.
We will continue building a school culture focused on academics without leaving behind the extra-curricular activities that make school a fun place to be.
We will continue to look for ways to improve parent involvement in our school.
Most of all we will continue to work together because remember: We're all in this together....
